The Fall of 2020 was unprecedented. People were unable to gather because of the spread of COVID-19, meaning colleges couldn’t come together for traditions like a homecoming. Cohesive partnered with the media company Urban One to create a virtual homecoming experience.

The HBCU Homecoming experience is legendary. The content on this site had to reflect and pay homage to the HBCU's impact on the Black community. It was also a platform to celebrate black excellence and joy and elevate activism from Black Lives Matter.
